To think without takeover Tuesday I would have never seen this criminally under looked animation from 13 years ago.

This was if I remember correctly the first flash toon that made me discover Newgrounds. Back in 2002 I was obsessed with this video. Actually beat FinalFantasy9 for the first time last week and it got me thinking about this flash toon again. I remember taking screenshots of this then sitting down and trying to drawing Vivi and other characters from the animation for hours when I was young.

Without Newgrounds there's a good chance I wouldn't have become a professional animator, and without this toon I may not have found out about Newgrounds. So in a weird way I feel like I owe a lot to this flash toon.

Dude this is one of my favorite pieces of Captain Syrup fan art I've come across. Your art style is great and the composition screams 90's Nintendo power poster. If you sell prints I'd love to have one of those to hang on my game room walls!
