One of the items at the top of my art bucket list was to make an album cover, and this year I got to do just that!
One of my favorite local bands reached out to me and asked me to do a pixel art cover for their upcoming cover songs EP.
The EP just came out today and I'm super pumped to finally share the artwork with everyone!
The title roughly translates to "Quilted blankets". The EP has Acadian french covers of Kiss, Taylor Swift, Outtacontroller(another local band from Halifax NS everyone should check out!!) and a cover of Acadian music legend Eric Surette.

On top of the album cover I got to create a visualizer for their Kiss cover using some art I had made based inspired by a song from Sluice's debut album. Had a lot of fun creating a CRT look for it and messing around with after effects for the first time in years.
For those curious the word "Frippe" can be used in a bunch of context, like to rumple, fumble, or waste amongst others. :P
Anyways that's all, I wasn't asked to share this or anything I'm just really excited to have been able to work on this. As a huge fan of music who isn't very skilled in making it it was awesome to get to apply my skills to the visual side of things and to collaborate with one of my favorite bands.
